Your generous donation allows us to continue building our rescue so we can help more animals. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of countless animals in need.

My whole life I have always wanted to be around animals. Somehow not really knowing what I wanted to do with my life I got lost in doing medical billing for many years and then started pet sitting/ dog walking which then somehow lead me going to farm sanctuaries. My life really changed for the better in March 2019 when I went to farm sanctuary in California and I left there vegan and never turned back. Since then I have worked in animal rescue. I have volunteered at several different sanctuaries and have been heavily involved in animal transport. I truly love what I do.
My dream for Free to be fearless is to really focus on fostering, healing and finding permanent forever homes for farm animals as well as any other animals that may need our help. I also want to put a big focus on transporting rescue animals since there is always a big need, especially to help out other rescues.
Rescue is hard, I know that and I have experienced it firsthand for the past 6 years as a caregiver and it can be quite an emotional roller-coaster. But I am so grateful to have known the ones I have loved and lost and continue on for the ones that still need help.
I am excited for this next chapter and cannot wait to see what the future holds for Free to be fearless and all the animals we are able to help.

Sheryl has been in animal rescue for over 20 years. She was vegetarian for many years and then over a decade ago realized she wanted to make a bigger impact and adopted the vegan lifestyle.
She brings so much knowledge, compassion and dedication to our rescue. She is one of the hardest working and most dedicated people to animals that I have ever met.
When she’s not with her rescued animals at the sanctuary she works at, she is caring for her special needs rescued dog Jack, helping to care for other people’s companion animals or taking care of the feral cat colony she feeds.
Sheryl works closely with law enforcement on local animal rescue calls. She has her wildlife rehabilitator license and is a foster parent to rescued orphaned elephants in Kenya.
She is a huge driving force behind Free to be Fearless and I know she is extremely excited to help make a positive difference in so many more animals lives.

Nicole has always been a big animal lover. She has two rescue cats of her own that she absolutely adores (and might torture them a little with clothing lol). Her real great love is great white sharks, and her favorite time of year (aside from the fall) is shark week.
Nicole is one the kindest people I have ever known and is always willing to help out when ever needed and hardly ever will say no.
She has been to several farm animal sanctuaries and has even helped with rescue transports. After meeting Michael the turkey on a behind the scenes tour at Catskill animal sanctuary about 5 years ago she decided immediately that she could no longer consume animals.
She brings nothing but commitment and compassion to our rescue and we are all excited for this new adventure and helping as many as we can.
